HYDROGENIC BOUND-FREE GAUNT FACTORS

The gaunt factors for bound-free absorption in a pure Coulomb field are computed for bound states through the l5th shell and for free electron energies 9/ Z/sub 2/ from 2.5 x 10/sup -3/to 4 x lO/sup 4./ Rydbergs. The results are presented in tables and graphs and include also the gaunt factors averaged over a complete shell. (auth)
