A review is presented of the production and handling of radioisotopes in the USSR. More than 90 radioactive isotopes, 170 stable isotopes, and 360 labeled compounds are produced, Production planned for the year of 1958 is fs follows: Co/sup 60/, over 190,000 c; C/sup 14/, 200 c; Pu/sup 32, 1100 c; S/sup 35/, 900 c; I/sup 131/, 1200 c; Au/sup 198/, 1000 c; Ir/sup 192/, 192 c; Cs/sup 137/, 137 c; and Tu/sup 170/, 750c. 75 references.
