The prediction made for the nuclear isomeric shift of the In/sup 115/ (III) spectrum is generalized for all odd-odd nuclei with the following assumptions: (1) In accordance with the nuclear shell model the nuclear transitions are single transitions; (2) In nuclei with optic protons the shift is related to Coulomb interactions, in nuclei with optic neutrons the shift is related to electron-neutron interactions: (3) In the initial approximation the effect is described by the perturbation theory, the ''unperturbed'' electron wave functions are calculated for the even distribution of the charge over the volume of the nucleus.
