SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF NEUTRONS (250 KEV to 5 MEV) BY MEANS OF NUCLEAR EMULSIONS
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4285672
Supportless detectors of reduced dimensions are described which perturb the flux very little and permit precise positioning. An estimate is given of the resolution attained near 580 kev by using such a detector, Ilford emulsion L4, and a photographic counting technique. The improvement in the analysis is discussed and the possibility of observing short tracks by their lengths projected on orthogonal planes is noted. (W.D.M.)
