Solutions are described to the many problems raised by the building of the Marcoule plutonium extraction plant. The facility was designed to handle the irradiated fuel elements from G1, G2, snd G3. A brief description of the process is given. The extraction building is divided into three leak proof areas with the administration offices being in another building.
