Title: NEUTRON-INDUCED FISSION CROSS SECTIONS OF Th*SUP 232/ AND U*SUP 238/ IN THE ENERGY RANGE OF 3 TO 11 Mev. NEUTRON-INDUCED FISSION CROSS SECTIONS OF U*SUP 233/, U*SUP 235/, Np*SUP 237/, AND Pu*SUP 239/ IN THE ENERGY RANGE OF 3 TO 8 Mev

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4284592

The fast fission cross sections of Th/sup 232/, U/sup 233/, U/sup 235/, U/sup 230/, Np/sup 237/, and Pu/sup 239/ were measured in the 3 to 12 Mev energy interval. The neutron flux was measured by a proportional counter and by a scintillation counter using time-of-flight techniques. At neutron energies from 5 to 7 Mev all cross sections measured show a rise, the relative magnitude of which is greater the less the cross section in the region from 3 to 5 Mev. (auth)
