PURE ROTATION SPECTRA OF LIGHT AND HEAVY VINYL BROMIDES BY THE METHOD OF MICROWAVES (in French)

Journal Article · · Ann. Soc. sci. Bruxelles
OSTI ID:4283506
The measurements made by Cornwell (J. Chem. Phys. vinyl bromide were repeated and extended to the deuterosubstituted bromides. The series of absorption rays, observed in the region from 18,000 to 25,000 Mc/sec, is tabulated for CH/sub 2/ = CHBr/sup 81/ and CH/sub 2 / = CHBr/sup 79/, CH/sub 2/ = CDBr/sup 79/ and CH/sub 2/ = CDBr/sup 81/, CD/sub 2/ = CHBr/sup 79/ and CD/sub 2 / = CHBr/sup 81/, and CD/sub 2/ = CDBr/sup 79/ and CD/sub 2/ = CDBr/sup 81/. A description is given of the spectrograph used. (J.S.R.)
