SOLUBILITY OF DIBORANE IN n-PENTANE AND IN n-BUTANE

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4280574
The solubility of diborane in n-pentane and in n-butane was measured over the temperature range -30 to 0 deg C at pressures from 0 to 8 atmospheres absolute. The Henry's law constants (expressed as mole fraction diborane per atmosphere) for diborane in n-pentane are -30 deg C, respectively. The constants for diborane in n-butane are 0.0484, 0.0587, and 0.0736 at -10 deg , -20 deg , and -30 deg C, respectively. (auth)
