Title: PHYSICAL PHENOMENA OBSERVED DURING THE EXPANSION IN VACUUM OF BODIES COMPRESSED BY STRONG SHOCK WAVES (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zhur. Eksptl'. i Teoret. Fiz.
OSTI ID:4280534

The glow of an opaque, initially solid body appearing after compression by a strong shock wave with subse quent expansion in vacuum is studied. Condensation of vapor of the substance and recombination of ions and electrons under these conditions are also considered. (tr-auth)
