A method of separation of metul ions by electromigration in partially complexed solutions is described. The Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is used as the complexing agent. Geod separations are obtained in mixtures of lanthanum, praseodymium, and neodymium as well as of thoriunn and neodynium. The separation is affected by the nature of the accompanying anions. The influence of perchlorate, chloride, nitrate, and acetate is studied. (auth)
