SECOND RESONANCE IN PION PHOTOPRODUCTION

An experiment to measure the differential cross section for polarized photons in ordcr to determine the second resonating state in pion photoproduction is described. ln particular, it is proposed that the differential cross section for photons polarized perpendicular to the production plane be measured.
