Interim Studies of OMR for Marine Propulsion

The results of a four month study program are presented which was directed toward the accomplishment of three specific projects for the development of the Maritime Organic Moderated Reactor. A description of the work performed, conclusions, and recommendations are presented for each of the projects: nonuniformly loaded OMR-type cores, preliminary shielding study, and distillation residue handling.
