B-PID AND INVENTORY ESTIMATES WITH MINIMUM VARIANCE

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4268058
Methods for estimating the ending material inventory, which has a minimum variance for cases involving one months' and N months' data, are presented. Examples are worked out on simulated and actual situations, and the results are in agreement with the theory. Factors dictating the use of the methods are also discussed. (J.R.D.)
