The decision document presents the selected remedial actions for the Soil Operable Unit (OU) Sites and Groundwater OU Plumes, at the formerly active Mather Air Force Base (AFB), Sacramento County, California. The purpose of the Record of Decision (ROD) is to decide the appropriate level of remediation necessary to protect human health and the environment, and determine what requirements are applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements (ARARs) based on the groundwater beneficial use designation and site-specific conditions. The ROD has been divided into seven sections which specifically address the range of selected remedial actions for the Soil OU sites and Groundwater OU plumes.
