SCATTERING OF $mu$-MESONS IN LEAD (in Russian)

The scattering of mu mesons possessing momenta between 1.0 and 1.8 x 10/sup 8/ ev was studied in 7 mm thick lead plates. The experimental angular distribution is compared with the theoretical multiple scattering curve which takes into account the finite nuclear dimensions. It is shown that after introduction of all relevant corrections the experimental results satisfactorily agree with the calculations. (tr-auth)
