CONTRIBUTIONS TO KNOWLEDGE OF ELEMENTARY PARTICLES BY STUDIES OF COSMIC RADIATION

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4259012
A brief summary of past contributions of cosmic radiation studies to the physics of elementary particles is given. Some of the advantages of working with cosmic radiation and nuclear emulsions are discussed. The identification of secondary particles in high-energy nucleon interactions is considered. (W.D.M.)
