Journal Article · · Doklady Akad. Nauk S.S.S.R.
OSTI ID:4258517
The relations between the mass coefficient of beta -ray absorption and certain properties and structures of semiconducting materials were studied on specimens of Ge, S, Se, Te, CdTe, GaSb, HgSe, InSb, PbTe, ZnTe, and the alkali halide compounds CuBr, KBr, KCl, KI, and NaCl. Radioactive isotopes Ca/sup 45/, P/sup 32/, S/sup 35/, Sr/sup 90/, Te/sup and W/sup 185/ with simple beta spectra were used as beta sources which allowed recordings in a wide range of energies (from 0.169 to 1.701 Mev).
