K$sup -$-ABSORPTION IN NUCLEI, AN ISOBARIC SPIN AND ANGULAR MOMENTUM ANALYSIS
The consequences of the conservation of isobaric spin in K/sup -/meson capture on a pair of nucleons are investigated. Certain relations involving production crossseciions and capture and production ratios are derived: ihe effect of the assumption of the predominance of the final harvonic or meson- nucleon interaction is determined. Similar considerations are applied io ihe absorption processes in light nuclei like the deuieron and helium. etc. Lastly. an angular momentum analysis of the absorption processes is considered to determine the relative parities of the K and Y particles.
