MEASUREMENT OF SAFETY-ROD EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ZERO ENERGY REACTOR "RB"

Journal Article · · Bull. Inst. Nuclear Sci. "Boris Kidrich" (Belgrade)
OSTI ID:4255314
The reactivity effectiveness of the two safety rods displaced eccentrically along the diameter of a cylindrical D/sub 2/O moderated reactor was measured and compared with the theoretical calculations. The results show that the simplified calculations of one rod effectiveness are quite satisfactory but the theoretical evaluation of the interference effect of the two rods is not sufficiently reliable.
