Progress is reported i-n a study of the effect of a diet containing irradiated and non-i-rradiated bacon lipids on the incidcnce of spontaneous mammary carcinoma and hepatom in mice. No significant differences in tumor incidence were observed in the two groups after fifteen months on the bacon diets. (For preceding period see NP-7480.) (C.H.)
