A new method is suggested for preparing tubes and rods from powders of refractory and nonplastic metals and their compounds - carbides, nitrides, borides, silicides, and sulfides. The wares were manufactured by sintering the semimanufactured work obtained by pressing with friction forces and mouth-piece pressing with a plastificator. (auth)
