LEVELS IN Os$sup 190$ POPULATED IN THE DECAY OF 11d Ir$sup 19$$sup 0$
BS>11d Ir/sup 190/ was prepared in the Re/sup 187/ ( alpha ,n)Ir/sup 190/ reaction The decay scheme was investigated in a six-gap 6 wt.% Ru-U all - ray spectrometer. Numerous e- coincidence experiments were performed with the spectrometer in conaection with a -ray scirtillation spectrometer and a 100 channel kicksorter. Excited levels in Os/sup 190/ at 186 (2/sup +/), 548 (4/ sup +/), 557 (2/sup +/), 754, 956, 1161, and 1683 kev were established. It is shown that Os/sup 190/ possesses nuclear properties which characterize the elements in the region between the group of spherical nuclei around A= 208 and the strongly deformed nuclei in the rare-earth group.
