INVESTIGATIONS OF THE HIGH-FREQUENCY SPECTRA OF PERIODIC DISCHARGES (in German)

Journal Article · · Z. ahgew. Phys.

-Corona discharges at high voltage show, on an oscilloscope, discharge pulses of various sizes. A study was made of a single peak in these discharges. The spectrum of the almost periodically occurring Trichel pulses was measured Nith a high-frequency spectrometer. With the help of Fourier transformations the pulse form leading to this spectrum is obtained. The form of the current pulse are in direct relationship with the solution of the diiiusion differential equation which describes the discharge pattern. In the measurement of the spectrum the switch elements filtered by the current pulses are considered. A general relationship between the measured spectrum andd the pulse spectrumbefore entry into the measuring apparatus is formulated and given specifically for the arrandgement used. The experimental method represents a partial analysis of the spectra from spark interference voltages. (tr-auth)
