PRELIMINARY ZIRCONIUM ALLOY DATA FROM LOOP L-2-17
Core specimens of Zr alloys such as Nb--Zr and Fe-Nb-Zr were in-pile corrosion tested. Operating conditions are summarized for these and former similar tests. The corrosion solution contained UO/sub 2/SO/sub 4/, CuSO/sub 4/, and H/sub 2/SO/sub 4/, with a make-up solution composed of UO/sub 2/SO/sub 4/, CuSO/sub 4/, H/sub 2/SO/sub 4/, and Cr. Corrosion rites ire tabulated and presented graphically. (J.R.D.)
