Practical details of analytical methods which have been used for determining the amounts of a number of elements found in biological tissue are given. The elements discussed include barium, boron, bromine, calcium, chlorine, copper, gallium, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, strontium, sulfur, vanadium, and zinc, and the mcthods employed are based on colorimetry, flame photometry, or activation.
