A METHOD OF CORRELATING BURNOUT HEAT FLUX DATA

Journal Article · · Nuclear Sci. and Eng.
OSTI ID:4243357
Analysis of burnout heat flux is undertaken by considering the burnout heat flux to be the sum of the flux required to initiate nucleate boiling and of an incremental flux required to cause burnout. For data taken at a pressure of 2000 psia, the method of analysis correlated the majority of the data with an accuracy of sintering time 17 per cent. (auth)
