MEASUREMENT OF THE CIRCULAR POLARIZATION OF THE BREMSSTRAHLUNG PRODUCED BY ELECTRONS FROM $sup 204$Tl

The polarization of the external bremsstrahlung produced by the electrons emitted by T1/sup 204/ near the top of the spectrum (first order unique forbidden transition) was measured by means of the usual technique of the forward Compton scattering on magnetized iron. The observed effect agrees, within experimental error (about 10%), with the value expected for -v/c polarized electrons. (auth)
