ZERO POWER CHECK POINT EXPERIMENTS--ERDL TASK 100, PHASE 3. VOLUME II
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4236741
The data presented cover the first series of experiments on the ERDL critical experiment reactor. The purpose of the experiments was to establish check points or points of comparison between the ERDL Reactor and the Army Package Power Reactor (APPR-1). Once the differences between the ERDL Reactor and the APPR-1 had been evaluated, the fully loaded design core was assembled. A series of measurements was made on this core to provide reference data for future studies on similar reactors with higher fuel loadings, power flattening, and other adyanced features. The various cores studied are summarized. (W.D.M.)
