CONCENTRATION OF LITHIUM, SODIUM AND POTASSIUM IN FERROUS SULPHATE PRIOR TO SPECTROGRAPHIC ANALYSIS

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4235030
The iron is removed electrolytically from an acid solution of ferrous sulfate, using a mercury cathode apparatus. The solution remaining affer electrolysis is evaporated to remove excess acid and then spectrographed by the Lundegardh technique. The lithium, sodium, and potassium are determined microphotometrically. (auth)
