PYROCHLORES OF THE RARE EARTHS AND RUTHENIUM (in French)

The crystallographic parameters of the pyrochloretype compounds T/sub 2/ Rus/bu 2/O/sub 7/ where T is Y, A, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, or Lu, were determined, and the results are tabulated. From prelimimary paramagnetic measurements made on the Gd and Ho Compounds the Curie constant of Ru/sup 4+/ was determined to be 1.25. (J.S.R.)
