MINERAL UPTAKE BY PLANT ROOTS AFTER X-IRRADIATION

Journal Article · · Biophysics (USSR) (English Translation)
OSTI ID:4232151
Wheat seedlings were given radiation doses of 1000, uptake is very insensitive to radiation, and is almost unaffected by the above doses. A slight stimulation was detectable immediately after doses of 3000 and 5000 r, but the effect soon vanished. Doses of 10,000 and 50,000 r depressed the uptake somewhat. (auth)
