The volumes and activities of the several effluents from the Eurochemic reprocessing plant and research laboratory are estimated by extrapolation from Idaho Plant data. Two treatment plans are offered, based on the effluent estimates and published waste disposal methods. The schemes include waste evaporation and chemical treatment. Detailed examination and comparison of the methods are made and radioactive product discharge rates with different plant throughput rates are tabulated. (J.R.D.)
