Fuels, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids for use in a nuclear-powered aircraft were evaluated. The most promising fuels and lubricants are listed in the accompanying tables. These materials were selected on the basfs of performance an dynamic test machinery operated fn a radiation environment. Performance characteristics of lubricants up to doses of 10/sup 10/ ergs/C and of fuels up to 10/sup 9/ ergs/gC are noted. (auth)
