Thermodynamic Properties of Solid Bismuth Chlorides
- North American Aviation, Inc., Canoga Park, CA (United States). Atomics International Div.
The thermodynamic stability of solid BiCl with respect to its disproportionation products, Bi(s) and BiCl3 (g), has been determined from 127° to 242°C. This was accomplished by measuring the pressure of BiCl3 gas over the solid subhalide and over pure BiCl3 by the Knudsen technique.
