STATUS REPORT OF 6 MEV LINEAR ELECTRON ACCELERATOR

The 6-Mev linear accelerator is to be used for the injector of the 1-Bev electron synchrotron so it is required to have a good energy spectrum and high beam current. A peak beam current of 100 to 200 ma will be obtained in a 5% energy spread having a pulse width of 2 mu sec. A block diagram of the linac is given. (W.D.M.)
