A summary of data obtained in the evaluation of Tube No. 36, Extrasion No. 19660 is presented. This tabe had heat-treated end seals in comparison with the other three of this group for which the end seals had not been heat treated. The rear end seal would not clean up on the OD after heat treatment so shims were introduced to fill the space. This resulted in a pocr rear taper area so the tube should not be irradiated. The tabe was processed only through heat treatment. (W.L.H.)
