K$sup -$-NUCLEON SCATTERING LENGTHS AND THE K$sup -$-d SCATTERING REACTIONS

The K/sup -/-d elastic and total cross sections are calculated, using a model which includes multiple scattering effects. The scattering lengths which Dalitz and Tuan find as fits to the K/sup -/-p data are used in an attempt to distinguish between the four possibillties. The impulse approximation fails to give sensible results in this problem. (auth)
