The method of angular correlation was used to study the energy levels resulting from the reactions B/sup 10/(d,p)B/sup 11/, C/sup 13/(p, gamma )N/sup 14/, and N/sup 14/(p, gamma )O/sup 15 /. The theory of angular correlations of nuclear radiations was discussed for the general case, and the formulas for the special case of double and triple correlations were derived. The experimental arrangement used is described in detail. The proton-gamma angular correlation in the B/sup 10/ reaction was measured, and the results are discussed. The gamma- gamma angular correlation for the 6.23-Mev level in the C/sup 13/ reaction at the 1.16-Mev resonance is compatible with the values J = 1+ or 2+ for the angular moment of the 6.23-Mev level of N/sup 14/. The N/sup 14/(p, gamma ) reaetion was studied at the 1060-kev resonance. The angular distribution of the 8.34-Mev gamma radiation was measured, and the gammagamma angular correlation of 5.27-Mev level was determined. 49 references. (J.S.R.)
