Tables are presented of physical, chemical, and nuclear properties for a number of metallic and non-metallic materials considered for use as reactor coolants. A number of materials which probably have no use as coolants are included for comparison purposes. The materials are evaluated with respect to cost and possible alloys with U or Pu to form liquid fuels or liquid fertile materials. Several other comparison criteria are included. (J.R.D.)
