GROUP-DEPENDENT BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FOR ZOOM

A procedure was developed for the insertion of arbitrary group-dependent boundary conditions in the UCRL IBM-704 program, ZOOM. It is a multigroup diffusion theory code in which scattering from any energy group to any other group can be considered. A first-order approximation to the diffusion theory current boundary condition across an arbitrary boundary is obtained by the use of fictitious input parameters. (W.D.M.)
