THE GRAVITATIONAL FIELD OF A PARTICLE POSSESSING A MULTIPOLE MOMENT

Using the method of Weyl and Levi-Civita, a procedure is proposed for calculating the metric tensor describing the gravitational field of a particle possessing a mass multipole moment. Calculations are carried out for the case of a quadrupole moment. (auth)
