A SPECIFIC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF URANIUM IN ORES BY CATHODE RAY POLAROGRAPHY

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4200692
A method is presented for the determination of uranium in ores by cathode ray polarography in which the uranium is separated by a simple and rapid mercury-cathode electrolysis and then determined polarographically in a base electrolyte in which vanadiuin, titanium, and tungsten do not interfere. Application of the method to the analysis of ten standard ores is shown. (auth)
