THE NATURE OF THE NEUTRAL PARTICLES EMITTED IN K$sub 83$DECAY

ABS>An event was observed in photographic emulsion in which a K/sup +/- meson appears to decay at rest to a positron and a Dalitz electron-pair. The results of dynamical analysis, coupled with considerations of conservation of spin are interpreted as providing direct evidence for the emission of pi /sup 0/ in K/sub beta 3/ decay.
