HEAT CAPACITY OF TERBIUM FROM 1.4 TO 4.0 KELVIN

The heat capacity of terbium waa meaaured from 1.4 to 4.0 deg K. A discussion of the anomaly at 2.4 deg K is presented. The magnetic heat capacity was calculated to be C/R= 0.6 x 10/sup -3/T/sup 3/2/. The lattice heat capacity at 4 deg K was calculated to be 14.2. (C.J.G.)
