THE DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM IN URANIUM

Modifications are proposed for the method of chromium determination ia uranium in which the chromium is precipitated by diphenyl carbazide and a colorimetric analysis is performed in the presence of sulluric acid. Color development in a more dilute solution with a corresponding adjustment of acidity is proposed to lessen the tendency for precipitation to occur very shortly after addition of the diphenyl carbazide.
