RECRYSTALLIZATION OF TITANIUM AND EFFECTS OF LIGHT-ALLOY ADDITIONS (in German)

Journal Article · · Z. Metallk.
OSTI ID:4188599

The influence of silver, aluminum, cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, germanium, hatnium, indium, manganese, molybdenum, riobium, nickel, tin, vanadium, and zirconium on the recrystallization of titanium is investigated. Additions of silver and hafnium as low as less than 1 at.% are particularly effective in retarding the recrystallization. A further improvement of the recrystallization behavior of titanium is possible by adding a third component. (auth)
