The viscosity and density of various Redox Process solutions were determined at 15, 25. and 40 ction prod- C. Apparent molar volumes for UO/sub 2/(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/ and HNO/sub 3/ in hexone and in aqueou s solutions were calculated from the density data as a function of concentration. The molar volumes of Al(NO/sub 3/)/sub 3/ in water and of hexone in water were also determined as well as the molar volume of water in hexone. A method was found for calculating the density of mixtures of Al(NO/sub 3/)/sub 3/, m curves of apparent molar volumes of the individual salts in water. Expressions were derived for viscosity of the solutions as a function of mole fractions of constituents. (L.T.W.)
