Observation of $sup 13$C--$sup 14$N dipolar couplings in single crystals of glycine

Journal Article · · J. Chem. Phys., v. 63, no. 8, pp. 3676-3677

Dipolar splittings are normally not observable because the large number of nuclear couplings usually present produces extensive broadening of the NMR lines. In this note the $sup 13$C--$sup 14$N splitting in glycine is observed by using rf fields of sufficient strength to decouple the protons from the magnetically dilute nuclei. (AIP)
