Small quantities of zirconium salts (0.05 mg) were determined by a spectrophotometric method with amygdalic acid. Conditions for zirconium separation from thorium (1:5) and titanium (1:10) are described. The composition of ammonium solution of zirconium myndalate shows the compound composition (NH/ sub 4/)Zr(C/sub 8/H/sub 6/O/sub 3/)/sub 4/. (R.V.J.)
