Title: ELECTRODEPOSITION OF ACTINIDE ELEMENTS AT TRACER CONCENTRATIONS

The electrodeposition of the actinides from an electro1yte of ammonium chloride-hydrochloric acid is a rapid method for recovering trace concentrations of these elements in high yield. The plating procedure produces deposits which are adherent and uniformly distributed over the area of the plate. The effects of such parameters as current density, pH of electrolyte, salt concentration, volume of electrolyte, and the time of plating on the electrodeposition are discussed. (auth)
